The Dirt Devil lineup contains several canister vacuum cleaners that are designed for slightly different applications. Their EZ Lite canister vacuums are light enough to carry around your home yet still have ample suction for most floor types. The exception would be thicker or high pile carpets, as these would require a vacuum with more size and power. However, for bare floors and standard carpets the EZ Lite is a solid choice. Also keep in mind that it is a bagless model. While there won't be any replacement bags to buy you will have to empty the dirt canister quite often.
