They claim that 55 percent of the plastic used comes from recycled material and upwards of 80 percent of the packaging is from recycled cardboard. It's obvious that the engineers at Electrolux put some thought into how they could design a vacuum while keeping the environment in mind.

As far as performance goes the Ultra Silencer Green can hang with most other canister vacuum cleaners. It has a high efficiency motor with adjustable suction power so you can clean a variety of floor types with little trouble. Our Take On It

While we applaud the efforts by Electrolux in building the Ultra Silencer Green using mostly recycled materials it still needs to perform like a canister vacuum cleaner should. Fortunately, this model does and it comes with everything you need to clean most things around your home. The adjustable suction is a nice feature and it is so lightweight that you can easily carry it up and down stairs. If you are looking for a quiet vacuum cleaner that still has enough power for the average home then this model is a solid choice.
