This design, along with their HEPA filter will capture upwards of 99% of the smallest of allergens like pet dander and dust mites.

These canister vacuums also come with a few on-board cleaning tools like a floor brush, upholstery brush, dusting brush, and a crevice tool to reach down into those tight spaces. The Power Nozzle is great at deep cleaning carpets and it has an overload protection to help keep the motor from overheating. You also get a 3 position height adjustment for various carpets and bare floors. Plus, the 360 degree swivel hose allows you to quickly maneuver around the room vacuuming everything in sight. As mentioned above, the MC-CG901 also comes with a HEPA filtration system which is essential to remove allergens from the air. If you suffer from allergies or asthma then you definitely want a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter.

Our Opinion Of It

While Panasonic is not the best known vacuum brand, their MC-CG901 canister cleaner provides you with all the tools and attachments you need to clean various surfaces around your home. The 12 amps of suction power are more than enough for your carpets and the onboard attachments can handle many items like furniture, stairs, and curtains. It is fairly lightweight and the swivel hose makes it easy to reach all around when vacuuming. Remember that this is a bagged model so you will have to buy replacement dirt bags every once in a while.
